I'll be in Orlando and was looking at playing at Reunion, specifically the Watson course. Can anyone comment on Reunion and recommend one of the courses?

Played there this past December. Great resort overall. Still a little young as they were still constructing the main clubhouse, but that has since been completed. I played all of the course except the Tradition which is the course that Nicklaus built. The Independence and the Legacy were great.

I would highly recommend going there to stay and to play. It is a built facility that they have. Courses are tough, but extremely beautiful.

My old boss used to be the director of golf there and I have played the courses several times. They are fantastic. If you are looking for a challenging round on some great tracks, definitely make the trip.

The clubhouse has been completed and the place is sweet. One of the better facilities in the area for sure. Ginn typically is one that spends and spends to make sure the experience is top notch. At least in my experience at his top shelf facilities, which I consider this one to be in that realm

I'm going to play the palmer and watson courses (legacy and independence) in november for a tournament. Can anybody tell me what it's like. I can't seem to find helpful info or pics on the web so pictures are greatly appreciated.
Thanks

frankly - it's SPECTACULAR!!!! I played it when it first opened, before the clubhouse was finished. I was astounded at the conditioning, the superb greens, and the sheer beauty of the courses. Incredible place, the finest conditioning I've ever seen.

The Palmer course features a few forced carries. The Watson course has a number of waste area style bunkers. The shaping of both courses is spectacular as is the conditioning. With the Palmer course, be sure to choose the set of boxes that leaves reasonable carries from the tee. On the Watson course, the approach shots can be played into plenty of bumps and banks; the greens have a lot of character. Both courses are fun to play and will challenge your ability to score, but aren't overly difficult for lesser skilled players.

I played the Tradition last weekend. Beautiful Nicklaus course. Not very tough but after a couple holes you realize that you want to miss FW bunkers at all costs. Practice greenside bunker shots before you play. You'll know why after about 7 holes. Any miss other than a full blown "bail", will find sand.

Everything except the course was under construction. The clubhouse isn't built yet so the pro shop is pretty much a shipping crate with a port a john behind it. A bit shocking compared to the other courses, and their hotels. Also, you need to stay there to play any of the courses. We were there with a friend who won a round there and our money was no good at, or on the course. (i.e. no room number, no drinks).

It's a great course in wonderful shape. Just everything else "not there" yet.
