I can almost garuntee you that sergio has won the Open... there are so many random jr golfers that I know winning tournaments right now that its time for sergio to win. my friends both won at 7 under so i guess sergio will win at 7 under as well

How can you say that?? You can't win a tournament in the 1st through 3rd rounds, but you sure can lose one.

The way Sergio has played in the past I wouldn't put any money on him to win. He is a little too shaky.

I could understand if he came out today and shot 6-under, but he shot 1-under.

This thread is ludicrous. We are only halfway through a major, you cannot tell. Nobody can as a matter of fact. Stupid Thread. This thread is like me saying, CHRIS DIMARCO (or another player) IS DEFINITELY GOING TO WIN THE FEDEX CUP. Just because a friend is at the same score as sergio doesnt justify anything. There is still many shots to be made and lost in the tournament.

In 2005 Tiger won the Open leading wire to wire. The last Open winner to go wire to wire was 32 years prior to that. The odds of Sergio going wire to wire are slim to say the least but I wish him the best. If this belly putter boosts his confidence I hate to see what will happen in the next Ryder Cup.

He might win, and he might not. Personally I think there is waayyy to much golf left and to many great players within a couple strokes to say that Sergio has got it.
