I just moved away from Seattle 8 months ago. I am flying back next week to go on a 5 day 153 hole golf-your-guts-out marathon. Needless to say, I can hardly wait to hit the 1st of 153 tee boxes.
But here is my problem. One guy is about a 36 handicapp and plays about 5 rounds a year. he really wants to get into golf, but I don't know if we can keep him entertained for that long. What games can we play?
I also am wondering if any of you can give me reviews on three courses I will be playing that I haven't played. Kayak Point, TPC at Snoqualimie Ridge and The Home Course. Any thoughts?
Our planned courses are:
the Home Course: 27 holes
Olympic Course at Gold Mountain
Washington National
TPC Snoqualimie Ridge
Kayak Point
Loomis Trail
Shuksan
Semiahmoo
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

semi, tpc snoqualmie, the home course, and gold mountain are all pretty good tracks.
it looks like you're going be doing quite a bit of driving though... you might as well check out chambers bay then. i'm playing there in august.

I agree, looks like you're going to do a bit of driving for these 3 golf courses.
My buddies played the Home Course, last Monday, feedback was great, not as difficult as The White Horse or The Chambers Bay.
Kayak is not as tough as before, as they had pulled a lot of trees and trimmed the rough.
If your friend is not used to play golf often, then I'd suggest to get him a bottle of no.7 to help him enjoy the journey. It'll be physically and mentally testing for him.
Wish you have a good time here.
