I am not going to work today because I have 3 different clubs coming in today from UPS, Fed Ex, & USPS. If my wife knew what I was doing she would commit me. I know I need help, but it is so much damn fun. The anticipation is what it is all about!

what are the clubs??

All are brand new. A R7 425 TP 9.5 Rombax Stiff, Callaway X20 Tours 3-PW Dynamic gold SL S300 plus 1/4 inch, and Tour Edge Exotics CB2 3 wood.

I wouldn't expect the UPS man anytime soon. Unless you have special circumstances, they don't have to deliver to a residential zone till whenever they get around to it. I work at a UPS store and some drivers say they dont get done with their routes sometimes till about 10:30 or 11.

OMG all those great sticks in one day is a personal holiday! You get Christmas Day off don't you?

those are worth the day off. hopefully he/she will get there soon so you can:
1. throw all the boxes out before the wife gets home
2. go to the range/course and try them out

Wife just called and ask if I was feeling better. I said " Yes. A little. " I feel even better when the next club arrives.

Help is here! Open up a UPS store mailbox. Have everything shipped there/signed for there. Open up your very own, low limit credit card, use that for purchases and have the bills sent to the UPS Store address. Marital bliss is maintained!

The Trifecta is complete. Everything just showed up and it looks great. I suddenly feel better also. Told my wife I was going to the Doctor for a shot, than it's off to the course. I'll tell you guys that it's off to the course right now. Wow, this is the one of the most exciting days of recent. I worked from home all day Last Friday waiting for an Oddysey White hot #1 Putter I bought from Callaway Golf Pre-owned for 25 bucks. Hope you enjoy the new clubs more than I did that putter. What a waste.

that is a great story......when i order clubs i will go home at lunch to see if they have arrived....next time i might have to pull the "i'm not feeling well" card.........PRICELESS!!!

Nice clubs, but my wife would kill me if she found out that I wasn't sick and that I didn't go to the doctor for a shot when I told her I was. I know she probably wont find out, but somehow, someway my wife would find out.

I could never get away with that. Since my wife works for my doctor. Also that is why i get everything shipped to work.

AS long as you dont have your mail forwarded there then that is the way to go. If you have one of those boxes, you will get your packages earlier in the day. But if you do get your mail forwarded, its a b**** to get it to stop, the sh1tty USPS wont respond to mail forwarding slips afterwards.

You guys are pathetic, not telling your wives your getting new clubs!!

Too Funny.

I received a new Scotty headcover last week that I paid $75 for. My wife noticed! I told her it was in the gift bag from an outing I played in! She would kill me for paying 75 for a puttter cover! Little does she know that was pretty cheap!

Update. Just got home from a quick nine. Wife is due home in about 1 hour. It all work out in an amazing way. By the way the clubs are awesome, especailly the irons and 3 wood. Anyway, gotta go put on my PJ's, put a bandaid on my thigh and start looking a little pale. See ya! P.S. Long live the club HO!

that is too funny ...love it ...reminds me of the day I caught the UPS truck on the way home from work just as he was turning corner to my house .....luck was with me he had the clubs ..lucky intercept and one less set to explain ...

Man, if she asks you in a month where the doctors/insurance invoice is cause it hasn't shown up in the mail like mine did.... your DEAD MEAT!!

Here is my perfect Club Ho setup:

1. Self employed work at home

2. Paypal account is linked to my business account. Wife has no access.

3. My office and office window are right next to the front door. Big house (4000 SF), wife is usually in the back family room area or upstairs in the kids rec room, also on the back of the house.

4. Dead end street. UPS/FEDEX drives by early afternoon. About 30 minutes later is my stop...like clockwork.

5. Here is the key. When the delivery truck pulls up you must not allow the door bell to be rung. I drop what I'm doing, hang up on a client, whatever....and great the package on the front lawn.

6. Disseminating the gear and shipping boxes is another chapter.

Out of the 25 o 30 deliveries over the past year I've only been caught twice. Luckily just a shaft and a clubhead cover.
