Be a shorter list to name the courses to avoid.....

Turtle Bay (Palmer) - my favorite
Ko'Olina - best 19th hole ever
Ko'olau - toughest course you'll ever play

Have a great trip!!

kapolei is an absolute steal at twilight. have no problems finishing 18 and you're playing at a LPGA stomping ground to boot. tied with palmer course for my favorite on oahu.

turtle bay palmer course is awesome as well. fazio course isn't bad either.

pearl country club is a decent course. i played here the most while i was at home and it was always pretty well kept.

koolau is definitely the toughest course i've played. sights here are beautiful.

waikele greens were bad the last time i was there. i'd stay away.

stay away from the muni courses as they're not very well kept. ala wai is the only muni that's decently kept. it's right next to the waikiki area but it's very tough to get a tee time. walking on and getting put together with another group shouldn't be a problem though.
