Hey wrxers,
Was out in Bandon, OR for work this week... what a great place. Iowa might have been heaven to Kevin Costner in Field of Dreams, but Bandon is heaven to me. Anyways, there is a new course on the south side of town called Bandon Crossings. Looks to be a gem. I didn't get a chance to play, but the pro, Mark Fiore took me for a cart ride around the property. It is truly special - some of the best par 3s I've ever seen. I would not be at all surprised to see it listed as one of Golf Digest's "Best New" in the years to come.
In addition to Bandon Crossings, I had a chance to eat at the Crow's Nest... one of the best meals I've ever had. And went up to Bandon Dunes to check things out. I would have given anything to play one of those three beautiful tracks, but not enough time.
Anyways, just a heads up for anyone that is planning a trip out that way. Or, if you live on the coast - you are my hero!
