I've always been a fan of Footjoy Countour series golf shoes.
Recently, I just wanted to try those running-shoes like golf shoes from Nike. They look very light and comfort. I'm wondering if they are as stable as classic golf shoes are.
I appreciate any comments from WRX'ers who wear that type of shoes. Any other likes or dislikes?

Thanks.

If you want a really light walking shoe check out the HI-TEC V-Lite Golf Shoes. Amazingly light weight...

Shoes are very individual, of course. The Nike athletic styles have not worked out very well for me. My favorite golf shoes are my Adidas Tech Feather II's and Etonic G-Sok sports.

The Tech Feathers are the lightest and have that athletic look without looking like running shoes. The G-Soks are spikeless and have a nice casual saddle style. While not quite as light as the Tech Feathers, they are still very light.

Personally, I avoid shoes like the Contours because the polyurethane linings make my feet hot.

Finally, for my casual, after work 9's, I usually just wear Nike trail running shoes, which have plenty of grip and are more comfortable than any golf shoe I've found.

Bite Golf Vibe AC series might be some of the lightest shoes out there.

I like the Bite Portal...it's relatively inexpensive and fairly light
