I have noticed that the RX-300 ball is on sale on most golf sites. Does this mean it is going away? Or coming out with a new version?

Where are they on sale? I think the only new series is the 2010 "E" series that was just released.....

I hope they aren't going away. I've been a Pro V1X player for years but tried a sleeve of the Bridgestone's this fall. I've found the Tour 330 to perform as well as the Titleist and I save a few bucks. I picked up a dozen for $40 at our local golf shop.

Everything I've read or heard says the RX is selling like hotcakes. Maybe the best selling ball next to the ProV's. I've tried them but they are a little too soft for my swing. The B330-S is the one I prefer and wouldn't play anything else.

The B330-S is the one I prefer and wouldn't play anything else. I only play as a "walk on" for the most part and have never seen anybody play the RX. Out of the 100s of balls I have hawked this year only one was an RX. Either the players are that good or not that many play this ball. |

It could be that it's the previous version on the B330/B330-S but there's only one version of the RX balls. The latest B330/B330-S balls have a much bolder print than the older ones. Although the newer ones have been out for several months, probably close to a year.
The only new balls I am aware of is their revamped e-series balls. They went back to e5,6 and 7 w/o the "+" on them and the 5,6 and 7 typeface has changed. This post has been edited by longballguy: Nov 6 2009, 03:42 PM |
