Snake.

Whoever 3 putts first gets the snake. He holds the snake till someone else 3 putts. Whoever has the snake at the end pays the other players. We usually play $3 per nine.

9s.

Each hole has 9 points awarded to your net score placing in the group.

Lowest score on that hole=5
2nd=3
3rd=1

If there is a tie the points are shared.
T1=4
T1=4
3rd=1

1st=5
T2=2
T2=2

All Tie=3

Assign a monetary amount to point differential. Usually @$1.

9s is a good game. We also play a game called Defender. 1 plays against 2 and the 2's are scramble. The single wins all ties and of course gets paid twice. Rotate the single. You can set a per hole amount but it's most fun when the bet is "hammer".

This what I was going to reccommend, we play this game all the time, I have a regular threesome I play with, (hope that doesnt sound dirty) and we play 9's all the time easy game to keep track of and the low player after 9 has the option to press the bet, so in effect we will play 18's on the back. If we have a 4th then we will play low ball low total, or if the 4th doesnt want in the game we play 9's, along with multiple other side bets. einstein.gif

Bingo, Bango, Bongo... good game when the skill levels are different too.

Bingo: 1st on green
Bango: Closest to hole from off the green (only one chance, can't hit it off and then back on...yeah, I've seen it tried!)
Bongo: 1st in the cup

One point for each and you play "furthest from hole hits first" at least when considering the scoring. Make the point value what ever is comfortable.

You really get to see the gamesmanship of your playing partners. If someone hits the green first (Bingo), others will lay up short just so they can chip it close for 'Bango.'

Play it along with a regular Nassau and it will keep everyone honest and trying to score.
