I've played that course. I suffered a 6 hour round there once.

Man, you aren't kidding. The last round I played there took 5.5 hours. The pro shop has no earthly clue how to schedule tee times. After holing out our putts on the first green, our foursome waited TWENTY FIVE MINUTES to hit our tee shots on #2 because the traffic was so backed up. Lions is a horribly managed course, and it's a shame, because I like the layout better than any other municipal in Austin. Haven't played it since that day - when I play in Austin, we go to Morris Williams (Mo Willy) on the east side of town.
