I am not a big Phil fan, but he has been dressing nicely these days.
Feel awkward asking this, ...but does anyone have any info on the pants he was wearing this afternoon?

+1 on the shirt......do you think having that 3rd button caused a lack of oxygen to his brain caused him to miss the eagle and birdie putt on the back 9? those shirts look like they are choking him........

No it was Phil reading a 2 foot putt like it was Homer's Odyssey. In all seriousness he just over thought that one. It was still great to watch in person though. |

That shirt would look good on someone...but not Phil. It's just not cut correctly for him around the neck and collar.

On the DP show, they were calling all of his shirts a size "smedium"
Seems to be pretty applicable. |

hey Phil, get some shirts that fit.... That "2nd layer of skin" look works for Camilo & Sergio but not fat dudes like you & me They look infinitely better on Phil than the oversized garbage with the Hugo Boss logo on it he used to wear. Made him look 30lbs heavier, as baggy clothes do to anyone. |

That Ford lolg did look completely lame. I'll reiterate though, since so few seem to have a clue about how this works. Slimmer cut clothes make you look slimmer. |

I guess I'm in the minority, I like his shirts and have been trying to find them but haven't been able to locate them. Plus, people seem to think they're made by Callaway which is wrong. They're either Hugo Boss or Q'aja Couture, but I can't find the shirts with the contrast piping so I'm not sure which it is.
And I'm actually surprised some people are complaining about the sleeve length. It's such a better look than the "towel sleeves past the elbow" which is how most manufacturers make shirts. Everything is WAY too big. Slimmer cut, custom fit shirts are more comfortable and better looking. |

Phil has slimmed down quite a bit in recent years. I hate the shirt style around the collar. By the way did anyone notice his sleeves on Sunday. THey seemed to be "flying out" under the arm. Almost like they were ripped or cut

At the Shell, we stood next to Phil, and he's anything but fat, he's slender and in good shape. He wears a nice clothes, slacks and shirts but during his swing, his shirt sleeves appear to me to be too short, and the length of his slacks appears too long. |

Most of the tour guys wear custom made trousers don't they? At least I remember reading that somewhere, maybe it was Steve Elkington who said it. I wouldn't be surprised that Phils shirts aren't custom made since he's no longer sporting a clothing company as a sponsor and every shirt I see him this year in is exactly the same except it's a different color.
QUOTE Do you guys really consider Phil to be fat? Maybe not fat-fat but too fat to wear shirts cut like that most definitely. |

I think his pants are by Jack Victor.
Read that somewhere in a golf mag, you know where they list the vendors and costs and the back of the mag. like $400 a pair or so. |

Almost like they were ripped or cut They did indeed seem to be billowy. The button down look is a little odd too. His pants are most likely custom, from the likes of élevee or Zanella. |

I too believe Jack Victor makes his pants, custom jobs at $250-$400 a pair. He buys a boatload of them just before the season gets underway. I have a pair that look almost identical to the ones he wore last week in the Masters, the gray with black stripes. Mine are Perry Ellis and I got them at Marshals for $25.
His pants have gotten better since last year. I remember seeing him at TPC Sawgrass last year and his pants were about an inch too short and just looked to small for him. Phil is a bigger guy but he is not fat but he definately cannot pull off the shirts. I hope someone who knows what they are doing helps him pick out his new stuff next year. |

Can't confirm the pants but the shirt is Q'aja Couture. If you go to the golf couture collection of their website (http://www.qaja.co.uk/) and click on bespoke you can see a picture of a person who looks suspicioulsy like Phil. Probably can't use his image due to his contract with Callway. I imagine you would have to go the bespoke route to get the piping, etc.
No comment on the fit on Phil but the material of the shirts appears to be awesome - breathable polyester on the outside with wool on the interior for temp regulation. Trying to find a US distributor for the ready-to-wear shirts since shipping from UK will probably increase the price from ouch-inducing ($110) to downright painful |
