I did a search for this already and couldn't find anything. I owned the original AP1 and had some of my best scoring with it... at the time which was back in 08.

Oddly enough I had been coming of a wrist injury and came back to more frequent play with the 2008 AP1 in a Proto Graphite shaft.

The club heads themselves were immensely forgiving without going overboard with the soles and offset. So I'm wondering if I should consider the old ones in a steel shaft or perhaps the new AP1 710 ?

Has anyone tried them both, has anyone hit the new one period? I'd appreciate any feedback.
