YES! Golf have announced their intentions as short game specialists with the release of their new wedge. Coming swiftly after the release of 6 new putter models at the PGA Merchandise Show, the first consignment of YES! ‘Bill’ wedges has hit British shores this month.
Better known for their C-Groove range of putters, YES! have a created a wedge forged and then milled from Japanese steel .Spin control is enhanced via precision-milled hairline grooves on the presenting surface between the primary U-shaped grooves on the club face. The increased backspin puts the spin action of the world’s greatest wedge players into the hands of every golfer.
Add to this the longest hosel of any wedge around and the higher centre of gravity and greater backspin brought about by this, and this also looks to make a real difference.
With a glare-resistant black chrome-plate finish and a TrueTemper Dynamic Gold S200 shaft, this wedge will initially be available in 52 and 56 degree, with 58 and 60 coming later.
YES! Golf have stated that they do not want to provide a full set of clubs but rather look to extend their expertise from greens the greenside and GolfWRX one of the few lucky enough to receive some of these new wedges. So look for a review in the coming weeks.

Any pics of the face? Does it have grooves?
