With the completion of the second round of the PGA Tours Buick Open at Warwick Hills there is a trio tied at the top of the leader board all with different goals and expectations.

Kenny Perry shot a sizzling nine under par 63 on Friday, which included eight birdies, and one eagle on the par 5 seventh hole.  Perry who is looking to return to form of past years when he had multiple wins and was near the top of the money list.  Perry is currently ranked 107th in the world which is a far cry from his past top 10 ranking in the world.  Perry is very well aware of this ranking and is working hard to get it back to where it has been in the past.  A Win this week for Perry would not only raise that world ranking but would validate all the work that he has been doing over the past few months.

Brett Quigley has made over eight million dollars during his career on the PGA Tour but hasn’t broke through yet with that ever so hard to get first win on the PGA Tour.  During an interview with Quigley he was asked about the large amount of money he has made but not winning yet and all he replied with was "I must be doing something right". This is true if you look at his consistent play and all the made cuts but he badly wants that hard to get first win. Brett shot a steady three under par 69 on Friday which featured four birdies but could have been a bit better if it wasn’t for a bogey on the par 5 16th hole.

The Third player tied at the top of the leader board is a proven winner on the PGA Tour in Jim Furyk who is currently in eighth place on the FedEx Cup points list. Furyk fired a solid four under par 68 on Friday that featured six birdied and two bogeys. Jim played the Par 5’s three under on Friday, which is what you need to do at Warwick Hills, which traditionally has had some very low winning scores.

Saturday will truly be moving day with 16 players within three shots of the leaders which include past tour winners Scott Verplank, Steve Elkington and Billy Andrade all of whom are also looking for their first win in a long time.
