Nice to see a golfer without an ego…..keep trying to hit the 8.5 reg. flex…….
Ball don’t spin as much, we all need loft for launch
I’m bashing a 12 deg. (ss 109) and I’m in high demand in the scrambles

He hits downward on his driver -1 hence ,more loft more control, as for the irons he must just prefer the chunkier look, doubt its anything to do with ball flight, shafts change the flight more than most heads

It’s interesting that Lee plays essentially an 11 degree driver and fairly high-lofted woods. Not to mention he plays the i20 irons which launch the ball higher than the average blade (s56). Is that due to his left elbow being bent at impact and delofting the club a great deal which naturally creates a lower ball flight so he needs higher lofts/lower CG to get the ball up more?

Spot ON! thus the chicken wing, long and straighter shots with his irons. part of could be he just likes the look and feel of the i-series
