I wonder why he didn’t go with the new CBs for the 2 iron? It has to be more forgiving than the old MCs which I assume is even less forgiving than the new MCs that make up the majority of his set…

i wonder if its a possibility that they don’t make a 2 iron in the new MC’s, though they could easily bend a 3 iron strong and stamp a 2 on it.

I would guess that he picked the old MC because it doesn’t have the slot and launches lower, a little bit more control over the launch angle off the tee.

Maybe it’s just that he’s more comfortable with the old MC. If it’s your go to club, it might as we’ll be the one your comfortable with and you can trust. Besides, why would he change it. He bloody bombs that thing!
