TaylorMade’s bag-ier Staff Bags for Doral

Published

on

This week at the WGC-Cadillac Championship, TaylorMade is doing its official launch of the RocketBallz Stage 2 drivers, fairway woods and hybrids that five lucky GolfWRXers are attending (follow their progress here).

TaylorMade says this year’s line up is “RocketBallz-ier” than last year’s model — particularly the RBZ Stage 2 fairway woods, which the company claims are 10 yards longer than last year’s 17-yard-longer RBZ fairway woods thanks to a stronger, more flexible face material.

TaylorMade has also release a Facebook app that will allow users to create their TaylorMade Stage 2 Staff Bag with their “name-ier” name on it. After “liking” the page, users can enter a contest for a chance to win a real customized RBZ Stage 2-ier Staff Bag and a 3 wood.

Check out the photos we’ve snapped of TaylorMade staffers’ bags this week at Doral, which are “bag-ier” than their bags last week, as well as the special stand bags TaylorMade made for the “WRX-ier” contest winners.

These are kind of ugly and boring. I liked it a lot better when they put the players’ driver specs on the bag a while back. That was pretty cool/informative.

They actually thought of something lamer than the facepaint. Based on the number of tmag paid players vs. number of wins, they are not doing well at all. Other brands are smoking them !!! Those are the facts, more factzzzier than any hearsayier conjectureriers. Worse still is their ads featuring pros who imply that they play certain iron(zz) but in fact are playing MBs or CBs. More deceptiveier than everer . . .

Its quirky but at the very least it is something entertaining. It helps that the TaylorMade clubs are winning, so they must be doing something right.

Can taylormade seriously get any more lame this year? This is getting beyond stupid.

I know they’re doing it for the kids, to bring more kids into the game, but it’s a but too childish for the adults to really take this seriously.

It should be about bringing in the younger generation…The game won’t grow unless you bring in new talent. You’re not gonna be 42 forever K……
