Tiger Woods reveals his favorite piece of equipment from his workshop

Published

on

Just like us, Tiger Woods is an equipment nut, and this week on Episode 7 of Golf Digest’s and Golf TV’s 13-part mini-series “At home with Tiger Woods”, the 15-time major champion showed off his workshop.

Woods gave host Henni Koyack a tour of his shop, and when asked which piece of equipment in the workshop was Woods’ favorite, the 44-year-old went straight for the grinder.

“The grinder. I sit here, and I just kind of, grind whatever wedge configuration I’ve wanted. And this is like my third belt that I’ve used here.”

Woods also revealed that he would once grind more to get his wedge configurations just right, how his process has evolved, and he also had a warning for club builders.

“As my technique has changed throughout the years, I’ve used different bounce configurations. And lately, this one’s worked, but the problem is once you shave down the club there’s no coming back.

And so, it’s taking it little by little … take too much off; now I have to try a whole new wedge.”

The DailyWRX (9/22/2020): Tiger, JT lifting the left heel?

Rory’s distance is even more fascinating looking at this picture….

I love this! Bummed he’s leaving the USGA but stoked to play “hell day” at a Mike Davis track.

At least 5…15….no more than 1,000.

I’ve been lifting my left heel all day. It’s off the ground as we speak. Typing speed went way up. Who knew?

Hi, Binny!
