At P9 with trail arm parallel with the ground, Jack Nicklaus
demonstrated a full body release. ie trail knee (his right knee) was even or ahead of his left knee.

IMO, anything less than full body release, (hanging back), leads to less consistency than GOAT evidenced by trail arm rolling over the lead arm.

Can turning your shoulders 90 degrees sap power from your swing

Published

on

Learn what the right amount of “shoulder turn” is for you so you can maximize your efficiency factor in your swing. Not enough shoulder turn will prevent a proper weight shift and loading of momentum for the downswing and too much will throw the whole swing off of center and cause unnecessary strain in the transition! What could you focus on so you can consistently get the right proportion of turn for yourself?
