Today from the Forums: “Kind of blown away by the PXG Gen 3 irons”

Published

on

Today from the Forums showcases PXG’s Gen 3 irons which have received glowing feedback from WRX member kgeorge78. Per kgeorge78:

“I hit the PXG Gen 3 irons today. P and T. They are unreal…. So much better than Gen2. The T felt unreal, and the P launched high and stayed in the air what seemed like forever. So good. Something tells me I might end up with A set of 0311P Gen 3. That’s it. The hype is real.”

Our members have been sharing their thoughts on the irons, both performance and appearance-wise – with plenty excited by the new additions.

Here are a few posts from the thread, but make sure to check out the entire discussion and have your say at the link below.

  • Hougz79: “I was shocked at how good they looked in pictures. I haven’t seen in person / hit yet, but I will. I have been reading great things about them. I’m officially interested.”
  • TrueWRX: “I think PXG makes the best irons out there. If I played more than once every few weeks 8 months a year, I would buy the T’s. Is it me or do the Gen 3s look super “soft” almost to the point they will look all jacked up after a decent amount of use?”
  • zohsic: “I hit the Gen3 at Club Champion. Very, very, very nice but I can’t justify the cost. My game doesn’t do those clubs justice. I was so impressed by PXG though that I ended up getting a set of the new 0211’s. The Heroes discount was very generous. They are being built as we speak. I think PXG is the only manufacturer to offer a military/first responder discount directly. Also, I ordered the 0211’s a few days ago; they are not discontinued.”
