GolfWRX.com was live and in color at TaylorMade Golf’s mecca of golf junkiedom: “The Kingdom.”
Johnny Wunder and Brian “BK” Knudson got full access to Team TaylorMade and did a deep golf junkie dive into some of the gear.
In episode one of our “At The Kingdom” series, we watch TaylorMade braintrust Paul Demkowski and Matt Bovee put Knudson’s gamers to the absolute test. The experiment wasn’t about getting his gamers outta the bag necessarily (truth be told, BK loves his current set—and he should, they are pure) but to show off exactly what the P790 and P790 Ti can do.
It’s quite the mic drop, and what a better way to show off the goods than to have the two brainiacs that cooked em up there for the experiment?
This one was a blast to be a part of, and there are also a couple of tech nuggets that dispell some myths and may raise an eye or two about how much thought went into the P790 line.

The Disruptors, Episode 10: Gen 3 Fitting
In the latest installment of The PXG Disruptors Series, Johnny went to Scottsdale National in early October for an exclusive first look fitting of the new 2020 PXG Gen 3 Irons.
Lead PXG fitter and Senior Tour Operations manager Dave Cunningham takes JW through the whole Gen 3 line starting with the precision ST and working all the way up to the supercharged XP. They finally land on a combo set that checks off every box.

Faults & Fixes: Losing height in your swing
In this week’s Fault and Fixes Series, we are going to examine the issues that come with losing your height during the swing and its effect on your low point as well as your extension through and beyond impact.
When a professional player swings, there is usually very little downward motion through the ball. Some is OK, but if you look at this amateur player you will see too much. When the head drops downward too much something, has to give and it’s usually the shortening of the swing arc. This will cause issues with the release of the club.
Clement: Total driving prowess
This video will clearly demonstrate how fading the driver will not lead to any loss of distance when you do it right. With a healthy positive angle of attack, a clear direction of action, and a completely abandoned swing, you can pull off some absolute zingers! We congratulate Savannah on her progress so far and wish her continued success this winter training season!
