The video instruction is way more complicated than it needs to be. Simplify.

    1. Neutral grip.
    2. Low and slow.
    3. Swing to the slot.

      Ben Hogans secret… THE SLOT
get all five levers in the slot.

Hogan gave us a number of clues:
top of left wrist bends forward of the ball in the waggle one of many clues to get all five levers into the slot.

Good explanation why the takeaway can be difficult to master.

it doesnt have to be that complicated.
Moe Norman showed us how to simply the takeaway.

Moe preset Tilt and bend to make rotation automatic
but key is to elevate the left scapula before the takeaway.
( Ref. The Hogan Manual of Human Performance: GOLF, Gerry Hogan)

Moe said , “the left arm is way higher than the right”…
    for the feeling of greatness.

.. and its not necessary to address the ball with the clubhead a long
way behind the ball, as Moe did.

Can turning your shoulders 90 degrees sap power from your swing

Published

on

Learn what the right amount of “shoulder turn” is for you so you can maximize your efficiency factor in your swing. Not enough shoulder turn will prevent a proper weight shift and loading of momentum for the downswing and too much will throw the whole swing off of center and cause unnecessary strain in the transition! What could you focus on so you can consistently get the right proportion of turn for yourself?
