There appear to be no golf instructors who understand Lag sufficiently
    to explain it succinctly.

Is there no golf instructor who can explain, FEEL ?

The most successful short game is based upon Feel, not length of BS or follow through.

Internal focus on movement of arms in BS and follow through is a recipe for the yips.

    Decelerate.

The “body” doesn’t know you took it back too far. Your brain does.

Good advice for the full swing, too…for some people.

The word is decelerate. Accelerate and decelerate.
