To create the Yips in your walking, attempt to consciously control both your hand movement
and feet movement at every step.

The Yips develop when we attempt to consciously control muscles when there is insufficient time to do so. eg consciously control of backswing and downswing in a single chipping or putting motion.

Piers, I agree with pretty much agree with all you’ve said, but also with the addition of establishing extremely light grip pressure at address and maintaining it throughout the swing. I also try to blend the motion of the arms and the torso so they both swing and rotate/pivot at the same speed. To view this “blending” of arms and torso, I would recommend watching videos of Luke Donald, Justin Rose, and Tiger Woods… Cheers ????
