on

Puma Golf is celebrating this week’s U.S. Open championship with its limited-edition Patriot Pack.

The Patriot Pack features designs inspired by the stars and stripes of the American flag. Mixing the colors of red, white and blue, Puma has infused a dose a patriotism throughout a pair of its IGNITE NXT shoes, P 110 Snapback Cap, a COBRA x CRU headcover and a COBRA x VESSEL Limited Edition Standbag.

IGNITE NXT Shoes ($120)

Featuring a Pro-Form TPU outsole and an organically-altered traction pattern designed for ultimate stability, the shoes feature a red, white and blue colorway, incorporating stars and stripes.

P 110 Snapback Cap Stars & Stripes ($30)

The hat features a navy brim and white body with an embroidered P logo that contains the stars and stripes. A fresh take on Rickie Fowler’s favorite hat.

COBRA GOLF x Vessel Patriot Pack Tour Standbag ($599)

A joint-venture with Vessel, this bag utilizes a white body with red and blue accents to showcase the stars and stripes of the U.S.

COBRA Golf x CRU Patriot Pack Headcover ($99)

COBRA teamed up with CRU to create a Limited Edition headcover, sold in limited quantities on cobragolf.com. The stars and stripes headcover also features Rickie Fowler’s signature.

The Patriot Pack IGNITE NXT shoes and P 110 Snapback Cap are available now through PumaGolf.com

Your suspicions confirmed: Brooks Koepka is in ESPN’s Body Issue

Published

on

Brooks Koepka took to social media on Wednesday to give us all a sneak peek of his appearance in ESPN’s Body Issue, which drops next month.

Earlier this year, Koepka disclosed that he lost 24 pounds inside five months, and it was rumored that the reason for the weight loss was for a photoshoot.

Criticism from many followed at the time, with Golf Channel analyst Brandel Chamblee calling the move the “most reckless self-sabotage I have ever seen”. Two victories (including the PGA Championship) and a further four top-5 finishes later, the reason for the weight loss has now become clear.

On posting the image to his Instagram account, Koepka urged his followers to “go get a copy”. But at least one of his peers has already let the 29-year-old know that they wouldn’t be doing so, with Justin Thomas commenting

“Nah man … I’m good.”

Which one you taking, WRXers?

Some awesome shots of World Woods GC in Florida courtesy of Zoe.

Although World Woods is a bit of a drive from Tampa, it is well worth the trek north for a great round of golf! The whole area had a crazy amount of rain the past couple of weeks, but besides a few flooded bunkers you wouldn’t have known (at least the Pine Barrens course)- evidence of great course drainage. The whole round I had to remind myself I was in Florida and not North Carolina. The course is tight, tree lined, and so many waste bunkers that each golf cart comes with its own sand rake. Don’t be deterred by the description though. There are plenty of “redemption” holes which help to keep scores low. I only had time to play the Pine Barrens course, but look forward to coming back to the area to try the Rolling Oaks course. The great rack rate and the proximity of other great golf courses makes this a great location for a future FL golf trip (who’s in?!? ????).
