Notes on Max Homa’s equipment via Titleist
“This is just the third week that Max Homa has been playing the new Titleist TS4 driver…He was among the first to put it into play when it was introduced to tour players at the Valero Texas Open.”
Titleist Tour Rep Jim Curran: “Max’s high spin and high club speed made him a perfect candidate for this driver. After nine holes in his first practice round at Valero, Max said that the spin reduction was very positive, he saw increased distance and he would be putting it in play that week. He immediately liked the size and shape of the TS4 when he first saw it, and we kept him in the same 9.5 loft that he was using in his TS3.”
“He said he can still hit his ‘fairway finder’ fade, only it’s longer. Max also said he can use the driver off the deck when necessary on the longer par 5s.”
@Titleist @VokeyWedges Amazing play this week by @maxhoma23 so thrilled to make his wedges. Max came to me Monday wanting to find versatility and confidence in his 60. Felt the bounce he had forced him to be too steep. The sm7 60L seemed to do the trick! pic.twitter.com/azuXwJYOv9

If I was Homa, I’d be playing Honma, and scratching out the N. How could you not?

Those Titleist mb irons sure are beautiful. Too bad only the real experts can hit em ????????

Is it me, or are MBs consistently in the bags of winners? People were pronouncing blades DOA 25 years ago, yet they still seem to find their way into the winners circle.
