A new year of golf is almost upon us, but over the last seven days, most of the Tour’s players have been enjoying some down time during the festive period. Here’s a look at some things you may have missed, and some of the quirkier moments from the world of golf dished out in the Twittersphere over the holiday season.

Christmas Eve. A time for relaxing with the family, and of course, getting a Ryder Cup tattoo on your backside.

Jonathan Byrd’s Christmas Gift

Reactions like this make Christmas what it is, and Jonathan Byrd’s daughter’s response to finding out what she got for Christmas is priceless.

Phil Mickelson’s Short Game Lessons

Yeah, yeah, I know this is an Instagram post, but still, free short game lessons from Mickelson? Had to be shared. Check out his account for more short game tips posted by Lefty over the holiday period.

Joe LaCava On Working With Tiger

Tiger’s caddie is usually quiet in regards to talking about his boss publicly, but these are some powerful words concerning his loyalty for Woods.

Tyrrell Hatton’s Christmas Look

We’ve all heard of Mac Daddy Santa, and now we have…well, I don’t think there’s a name for it. And rightly so, may I add.

The shoe incorporates the Curry 6 basketball shoe’s full knit upper with a spikeless version of the UA Golf Rotational Resistance outsole which is designed for lockdown and lightweight traction.

The SC30 Range collection of polos ($80-$100) also features Under Armour’s Iso-Chill technology. The technology combines cooling yarn into the fabric in order to keep the material cool even in hot and humid conditions.

The collection is available to purchase today in limited quantities at UA.com and Under Armour Brand Houses across North America, Asia and Europe, as well as at select pro shops in the United States.
