Attempting to control the direction of your shots, is detri…mental.
Control the direction, control the distance, control the spin etc etc…. will lead to the yips.

All a golfer can do is control the golf club to impact the ball to create COR at a precise spot on the ball.
Thinking we can control anything else is folly. Keep to the external focus and enjoy the game.

When I click what I anticipate is an article, and then see it’s a video or podcast I just keep it moving. I can get stuff like this on YouTube. I come to GolfWRX to read. No offense, just my two cents..

I’m in agreement. Give us the written version every time. Add a video for our choice.

I’m never getting that 2 mins back. What a waist of internet space. I hope nobody pays for a lesson from this guy. ????

This is lame. He starts by telling you there are two factors that influence the direction of the ball, lists them, then fails to discuss one of them (swing path). His advice will lead you to “hold off” and block the ball up the target line. Good luck with that.

Exactly. It’s like telling a golfer to aim the face of the club, your body, your feet, your shoulders, etc. down the fairway and your ball will end up there.

      FAIL.

Best putting machine ever: You

Published

on

So many professionals on different tours struggle with their putting — and then they wonder why amateurs are struggling. It is high time (because of my success as a putting coach is less known but no less successful) that they let another coach take a crack at it with very real science and anatomy to back it all up.

I’m talking about every aspect of putting (from stance, to distance to ball, to posture, to alignment, to distance control, to speed of entry, to psychology). You will love how incredibly basic and sophisticated this video is and how easily it will be to apply for you. Enjoy the lower scores and freedom!
