WATCH: Tiger Woods left Faux Tiger Woods hanging at the Dell Technologies Championship

Published

on

In the Morning 9 this morning (obviously), we talked about the Tiger Woods impersonator spotted roaming the galleries at TPC Boston.

Many in the social media sphere have been saying things like, “The only thing that would have made this better is if Tiger took a picture with him!”

Well, it doesn’t seem like that was ever going to happen, as the 14-time major champion was hardly amused by the faux Tiger.

Credit to Instagram account @more_gear_than_game for spotting this moment during Sunday’s telecast.

Leavin’ your doppleganger hanging! That’s cold. But really, it’s unclear whether Woods had his signature Tiger blinders on and didn’t see the guy (not to be confused with his signature Tiger sunglasses, which the impersonator was wearing, incidentally), or was genuinely not amused, but it made for a great bit of television we’d be remiss not to share.

What do you think, GolfWRX members, did Woods see his lookalike and give him the cold shoulder?

    Okay, but who’s the girl?

I rather have a rock solid, cold heart, savage Tiger Wood’s focused on the win for his fans, then a goo goo ga ga lady gaga Justin Timberlake crowd pleaser who’s in the middle of the pack.

Comments above are ridiculous. When you play in a tournament you usually follow the path to the next tee and rarely look at the spectators. Odds are, tiger didn’t even see him.
Btw, tiger took a picture with him and gave him an auto later in the day. So there you go.

Understand Euros have hired “faux Tigre” for the Ryder Cup, after all he has a French name.

Just a cold, cold little boy. That could have been a hilarious and cool moment and he blew it. Again.

Look we’ve all known for a long time Tiger is not the person he pretends to be. Nothing has changed. Remember the video of him blowing off the kids at The Open.

Eldrick just don’t get it. This stuff stays on the web FOR EVER. For ever. People will know for ever how cold he was. Even after all the apologies and supposed actions to put things right, everybody knows it’s all for show and all fake.

Take a look. He has fans that love this kind of thing. They see everything he does, whether refusing to stop cursing on camera, refusing to sign a golf ball for charity, elbowing fans out of the way after a bad shot, etc., as some kind of superior “focus,” or whatever. As if he somehow has more “focus” than a Nicklaus, Hogan, Snead, Nelson, or Jones.

Bryson DeChambeau’s latest message to slow play critics: “Screw all y’all haters”

Published

on

Just a few of days after vowing to step up his attempts to improve his pace of play, a video has surfaced from this Wednesday’s Pro-Am at Medinah of DeChambeau defending his pace at last week’s event and attacking his critics.

The video which you can see here at the Twitter account @DMeyer06, appears to be taken on a fans Snapchat account, and within it DeChambeau states

“I was never on the clock last week, y’all can say whatever you want, but we’re having a fu**ing good time. So screw all y’all haters”

DeChambeau’s message in the Snapchat video looks to contradict the statement he posted to his Instagram account on Monday where he said

“I’m constantly trying to improve and I will do my very best to improve my pace.”

DeChambeau is currently in action at this week’s BMW Championship where he posted a score of 1 under par in his opening round.
