New Cobra AMP Cell Pro Irons – Ricky Fowler, like many tour players, loves to break on his OEM’s new gear. Fowler tweeted a pic of the new Limited Edition irons that he’s been testing this fall, and is considering putting in the bag for 2013. They are different from the ones he has been gaming this year, but nonetheless some bad aXX pure-looking heads.

Fowler also tweeted his specs, which we have listed below:

Shafts: True Temper Dynamic Gold X100, 0.5 inches short of standard and soft stepped*

4 Iron – Loft: 23 degrees, Lie: 61 degrees

5 Iron — Loft: 27 degrees, Lie: 62 degrees

6 Iron — Loft: 31 degrees, Lie: 62.5 degrees

7 Iron — Loft: 35 degrees, Lie: 63 degrees

8 Iron — Loft: 39 degrees, Lie: 63.5 degrees

9 Iron — Loft: 43 degrees, Lie: 34 degrees

*Soft stepping is a process that decreases shaft stiffness. In Fowler’s case, a 3-iron shaft was installed in his 4 iron, a 4 iron shaft is installed in his 5 iron, etc. This is done to add spin and/or increase launch angle.
