Photos from the 2018 U.S. Women’s Open

GolfWRX is live this week from the 73rd U.S. Women’s Open at Shoal Creek Golf and Country Club in Shoal Creek, Alabama.

The top women golfers in the world are in the field this week, including Inbee Park (ranked No. 1 in the Rolex Rankings), Shanshan Feng (No. 2), Lexi Thompson (No. 3), Sung Hyun Park (No. 4), Ariya Jutanugarn (No. 5) and So Yeon Ryu (No. 6).

Last year, Sung Hyun Park shot a final round 67 to win by two shots over amateur Hye Jin Choi.

Wednesday’s photos from the 2019 Masters

GolfWRX is live this week from the 2019 Masters Tournament at Augusta National Golf Club (par 72: 7,475 yards) in Augusta, Georgia. The famed home of the season-opening major was designed by Bobby Jones and Alistair McKenzie and first opened for play in 1933.

The field this year, which consists of only 86 players — the smallest field since 1997 (also 86 players) — and player fewer than last year’s tournament. Rory McIlroy’s pursuit of the career grand slam, Dustin Johnson arriving at Augusta in his best form since his 2017 slip-and-fall, and Tiger Woods quest for major number 15 have dominated pre-tournament headlines.
