Check out the Hawaiian-inspired Aloha Collection Rickie Fowler will wear this week

Published

on

Rickie Fowler, along with sponsor Puma, have showcased some of the most forward-thinking golf apparel and footwear we’ve seen on the PGA Tour in recent seasons. That trend continues this week at the Sentry Tournament of Champions where Fowler will sport pieces from Puma’s new Aloha Collection. According to Puma, the collection is inspired by Fowler’s Japanese heritage, utilizing traditional Japanese designs and Hawaiian style.

“The Aloha Collection is a fresh, progressive take on traditional golf apparel, without compromising performance, comfort, or freedom of movement,” said Kristin Hinze, Global Head Apparel, Puma Golf. “Rickie talks about his grandfather’s Japanese heritage, which inspired the concept for this collection – blending the best of Hawaii with traditional Japanese prints. The result is a cool Collection that seamlessly transitions from the course to the airport to the beachside cabana in style.”

From the course to the cabana, as they say. Fowler will wear Puma’s Aloha Woven Shirt (above) to kick off the tournament. While the shirt’s Aloha print and cut are apparent at a glance, it also features plenty under the hood: moisture-wicking fabric, dryCELL technology, which draws sweat away from the skin, and UV 40+.

The collection also includes the Aloha Polo and Aloha Short, in addition to the eye-catching Aloha Golf Shoe. Offered in the Aloha blue colorway, the shoe features leather accents and an Aloha print interior mesh bootie. Proprietary 3D traction system. Ignite foam. The works.

The Puma Golf Aloha Collection is available now at Puma.com.

Lighten up guys. I’m in my 60’s about Rickies build and I’d wear this ensemble in a heartbeat. It’s perfect for the Hawaiian environment and I’m sure there are many clubs willing to loosen their dress code.
Now if I could only hit the ball and score like Rickie. That ship has sailed a long time ago.

Finally a button down golf shirt. Puma is miles ahead in terms of fashion for golf. Untucked covers the belt, which looks like crap when worn with shorts and a tucked golf shirt.

Yeah that blue one in the photo is terrible, as soon as I saw it I said “did he sign with Umbro?” because it reminds me of the Umbro logo
