As golfers, we’re all familiar with the conceptual “foot wedge”–though, of course, none of us have ever improved OUR lies by kicking the ball into a better position.
But how about a literal foot wedge? Credit to Stephen Hennessy for spotting this Greg Chalmers tweet.

Chalmers, who has long had one of the best short games in professional golf, was rightly impressed by pro-am player’s wedge, calling in “pure gold.”
Now, the inverted toenails and general appearance are more than a little creepy, but this is a brilliant feat of golf equipment engineering.
