Good info, thanks. Worth noting that spin and trajectory are also very much influenced by quality/type of lie and equipment. Pitching off a mat with range balls isn’t ideal.

Good video with good advice on backsping generation.
I particularly liked his comment to “bruise” the grass ahead of the ball and avoid taking a spin reducing divot. I do this but I call it “nipping” the ball off the turf.
Of course, green conditions must be conducive to pulling the ball back with landing backspin.

Can’t stand these videos on how to hit a draw, a fade, or create backspin and they never show the ball flight or roll. All that happens is the instructor saying “Yep, it did just what I wanted it to do”

In this video, I use technology to help you better understand how you can pitch the ball like the pros.

When pitching, you may have learned to keep your weight on your lead foot throughout the shot. That’s not always the best approach. With BodiTrak, I show you how to move your weight correctly to achieve more consistent strikes.
