Tuesday’s Photos from the 2017 Tour Championship

Published

on

GolfWRX is live from the last leg of the 2017 FedExCup Playoffs — the 2017 Tour Championship — which is being held at East Lake Golf Club (7,385-yard, par 70) in Atlanta, Georgia.

The top-30 golfers on the FedExCup Points list will be competing for the Tour Championship crown, the $10 million first-place bonus for the points leader at week’s end, and the FedExCup Trophy. As it stands now, after the points have been reset for the week, points-leader Jordan Spieth has just a 200-point lead over Justin Thomas, and Dustin Johnson trails Thomas by just 280 points. But mathematically speaking, everyone in the field has a chance to win if they win the event and the leaders falter.

Last year, Rory McIlroy earned the $10 million prize and the 2016 FedExCup title by winning the Tour Championship in a four-hole playoff against Ryan Moore and Kevin Chappell. McIlroy, however, will not defend his title since he was not in the top-30 this year.
