Zak Kozuchowski has stepped down as Editor-in-Chief of GolfWRX. Andrew Tursky, previously Managing Editor of GolfWRX, will fill his role. Kozuchowski will remain a part of the GolfWRX Team as a Content Coach for its Featured Writers program while he pursues a new opportunity outside the golf world.
“From full time to a limited role, it is hard to see Zak’s role change,” said Richard Audi, GolfWRX’s Founder and President. “In this case, Zak is headed toward an exciting next chapter of his life. Zak was there in the early years, and we worked daily together back then to shape the Front Page and Editorial teams. I will personally miss the camaraderie and his chemistry at the office every day. Change is expected, and we are excited to see our re-organized team take this opportunity and run with it.”
Kozuchowski was hired to lead GolfWRX’s Editorial Department in 2011. As Editor-in-Chief, he oversaw a 325 percent increase in unique monthly visitors. He’s also the architect of GolfWRX’s Featured Writers Program, a team of more than 100 contributors made up of aspiring writers and leading golf industry professionals.
“It has been a great honor to serve as the Editor-in-Chief of GolfWRX,” Kozuchowski said. “Almost six years ago, the ownership gave me the unique opportunity to build a golf news site that put readers and the game of golf first. I’m incredibly proud of what we built together, and I’m excited to see Andrew and the rest of the GolfWRX Team lead the mission.”
GolfWRX is currently the world’s largest golf community, as well as one of the largest golf websites in the world. The site attracts a peak of 2 million unique monthly visitors and 18 million monthly page views.
