How To Achieve a Perfect Driver Setup… Every Time

Published

on

So many amateur golfers set up on the tee box hoping to find the fairway, yet they never approach the golf ball in the same way twice. Having a routine to build your setup around is crucial if you are to start your golf ball on the target line you select, increasing your potential to hit the fairway.

This video is in response to a question from Dan Lamont on Instagram asking how can he get more consistency in his setup with the driver. Follow this simple routine and you will be in the perfect setup position every time.

I like the feet together concept and do the exact same thing when I start with my putting setup. Def going to go with this one this weekend. Not sure I understood first part of the segment with lining up the hosel.

WATCH: How to Improve Your Golf Club Release

Published

on

Many golfers release the club way too early. The low point of the swing moves back and they hit the ground behind the ball or pick the ball clean off the top of the surface. They then dream of “lag” and the “late hit” trying to achieve this by thinking of holding on the the wrist angle too long.

In this video, I share a drill that it will improve the way you release the club.

Left Arm Bend: The Difference Between PGA Tour Players and Amateurs

Published

on

We get questions about the left arm (or right arm for you lefties) during the swing… should it stay straight or should it bend? Many times our amateur clients have been told they “collapse” at the top, so they try the opposite of collapsing, which is keeping that left arm ram-rod straight. Well… neither is going to help your swing.

Let’s take a look at how the pros do it.
