Walters: How To Play From Bunkers With Little Sand


My “How To Play” series is designed to help golfers play better shots from all areas on the course: from the tee to the green and everywhere in between.

This video is in response to a subscriber question from Karen Slack regarding playing shots from bunkers that are compact or have little sand in them. In this video, I offer a couple of options that will help you play better shots when faced with this situation.

  1. I don’t mean to be critical, but that bunker is nothing like what the people who are asking the question want advice on. That bunker had heaps of sand. Maybe try a series off a cart path bc that is what the bunkers I deal with every week are like
