Wednesday’s Photos from the 2017 AT&T Byron Nelson

GolfWRX is live this week from the 2017 AT&T Byron Nelson at TPC Four Seasons Resort at Las Colinas in Irving, Texas. The course, which will play as a par-70 measuring 7,166 yards, was originally designed by Jay Moorish with input from Byron Nelson, but received a major overhaul in 2007.

The field this week includes the World No. 1-ranked golfer, Dustin Johnson, as well as Jason Day (No. 4), 2017 Masters Champion Sergio Garcia (No. 5) and Jordan Spieth (No. 6). Garcia also comes in this week as the defending champion of the AT&T Byron Nelson; he won the 2016 event in a one-hole playoff over Brooks Koepka.

Other notables in the field include Bryson DeChambeau, Jason Dufner, Ernie Els, Tony Finau, Charley Hoffman, J.B. Holmes, Smylie Kaufman, Matt Kuchar, Louis Oosthuizen, Ian Poulter, Patrick Reed, Charl Schwartzel, Brandt Snedeker and Gary Woodland among more of the game’s best players.

Photos from the 2022 PGA Show

GolfWRX was on site for the golf business’s annual winter rite: the PGA Merchandise Show.

While the weather was less than cooperative for demo day, there were no such difficulties inside the Orange County Convention Center. This isn’t to say there weren’t significant figurative headwinds influencing this year’s Show, but those are widely discussed elsewhere. Our duty here was merely to document, and that is what we did to the tune of more than 1,500 photos, below.

Thanks to our friends at SMS_on_Tour for sending along some shots from last week’s Mallorca Open at Golf Santa Ponsa.

Denmark’s Jeff Winther topped a trio of players at 14 under (and some trouble in a bathroom) to win.
