I went with the Glide at 54… otherwise he copied me hard. 🙂

Interesting Lee carries his 5 iron 201 yards – not 200 yards. These guys are good!

i assume numbers are in yards?

I guess Lee just got sick of asking Billy how far his irons fly. Or vice versa.

53° is his lowest lofted wedge? Wonder if that is his day-in-day-out set-up or something special for Austin CC or match play?

He also has a lob wedge. Crazy that he has the 2 similarly lifted set wedges.

He has a 60° listed in the pictures.

I’m probably going to regret asking (“oooh, that was a dumb question), but what are the numbers handwritten on the backs of Westie’s irons? It’s not a weight; head weight increases as you go from 4i down to wedges.
Is it a length number? Centimeters? Centimetres? 😉 (Can’t be; no one would measure a club in cm.)
Is it an oddly-formulated lie or loft number?

Probably a measured distance to remind him how far these irons fly.

Agree – I think it is more of a reminder for Euro players who have to make transition from meters to yards. My guess is that this is the estimated yard carry for the club.

I agree; I’m not ready to confess to it being a dumb question, but yeah I should have thought of that.
Cheers, guys, and thanks.
