GolfWRX is live from the 2017 Waste Management Phoenix Open at TPC Scottsdale’s Stadium Course in Scottsdale, Arizona. The course — which is home to the “Coliseum” surrounding the par-3 16th hole, housing 20,000+ fans — will play as a par-71 measuring 7,266 yards for the event.

The field this week features Justin Thomas, who’s coming off two wins in his previous two PGA Tour starts, defending champion Hideki Matsuyama, Rickie Fowler, Jordan Spieth, Phil Mickelson, Bubba Watson, and more of the world’s best.

Last year, Matsuyama capitalized on late-tournament slip-ups by Fowler, and eventually bested him in a four-hole playoff to capture his second PGA Tour victory.
