Neon Yellow Prototype Fujikura Rombax 115i Irons shafts spotted at PGA Champ

While these look like a brand new shaft from Fujikura they are a new paint on a proven product. Brian Cairns a PGA teaching professional at Fox Hills Golf in Michigan was spotted at the PGA Championship playing these bright yellow teasers.

“Those were a custom job we did on a request from on of our Top Dealers in the Michigan area, Josh Mussleman. He fit Brian into the Rombax 115i’s, he was stoked on the ball flight and control but wanted to see if we could match his ball color. We went as bright as possible and he loved them.” – Fujikura

Brandon De La Cruz- Fujikura says “He has always liked the feel of graphite in his irons but he really like the feeling in the tip section the Rombax 115i’s gave him. He went with X-Flex shafts with a neon ferrell, not clear, from Cell Parts. Josh Mussleman at Golf Express conducted the fitting for him and flattened out his irons producing a higher more flat ball flight which he loved. Overall he gained 7-8 yards per iron with the fitting from Josh and his new Rombax 115i iron shafts.”
