2014 Quicken Loans National Photos

Published

on

GolfWRX is live this week from the 2014 Quicken Loans National at Congressional Country Club (Blue) in Bethesda, Md. The course will play as a par-71 measuring 7,569-yards for the event.

Tiger Woods, currently ranked No. 5 in the Official World Golf Rankings, makes his comeback this week from back surgery just three months ago. It’s good timing, as the tournament helps to support his charity, The Tiger Woods Foundation. As tournament host, Woods will play his first competitive round of golf since he teed in up at Trump Doral in March, where he finished T25.

Joining him this week are fellow top-10 golfers Jason Day (No. 6 in the OWGR), Jordan Spieth (No. 9) and Justin Rose (No. 10).

In last year’s event, Bill Haas shot a final round 65 to claim his fifth PGA Tour victory, finishing three strokes ahead of his closest competitor, Roberto Castro.

Check out our photos from Congressional Country Club.

So glad Tiger’s back! I know what he’s been thru with knee injuries! Let’s hope he’s healthy for a good number of years now. I don’t understand why anyone wouldn’t want to wish him the best! How you treat Tiger is how you treat me!

GolfWRX is on site this week at the Valero Texas Open.

The event has been around since 1922, making it one of the oldest on the PGA Tour calendar. Over the years, it’s been held at a variety of courses across the Lone Star State, but it’s found its home at TPC San Antonio in recent years. Some of the biggest names in golf have taken home the title here, including Arnold Palmer, Ben Hogan, Lee Trevino, and Ben Crenshaw.

GolfWRX has its usual assortment of general galleries, WITBs and special pull-out albums. As always, we’ll continue to update the links below as more photos come in from TPC San Antonio.
