Yeah, he must have a deal with Nunchuk shafts, as their in all his clubs. He probably just gets free shafts from them………….

What a waist of talent, I believe I remember even Tiger saying Daly was the most gifted golfer in the game. Alcohol has ruined many a good man!

Daly will advertise anything, he pretends he is helping the amature golfer like with the Polara Golf Balls….Maybe one of the reasons he has had so many bad years in a row is all the club changing…I bet Wilson could sign the guy again if they wanted.

Tiger Woods WITB: 2020 Farmers Insurance Open

Published

on

Tiger Woods has arrived at Torrey Pines for the Farmers Insurance Open. It’s a venue he’s plenty comfortable at, as we well know, having won eight times at the California course(s). In his first official stroke-play action since winning The Zozo Championship in Japan in October, Woods looks to break Sam Snead’s record for PGA Tour wins with an equipment setup that’s the same as what we saw last time he teed it up—from the 5-wood through the bottom of the bag, that is.

At the top of his setup, Woods is testing the new TaylorMade SIM Max “Rocket 3” 3-wood and SIM driver ahead of competition. Both clubs are equipped with the Mitsubishi Diamana D+ White shafts the 15-time major champion has been gaming in his M5 3 and 5-woods.

Regarding the 9-degree SIM driver, Woods said he has “seen improvements” over his M5 gamer, but still needs to do additional testing.

Per Golf Channel, Woods said: “[The TaylorMade M5 is] a driver where I can hit a draw anytime I want, and then when I do hit a cut, it doesn’t really go very far but I know I can turn it at any given time. That’s what I want with the SIM driver, I want to be able to draw it and then hit my little slap cut up there kind of shortening the fairway. Trying to find both, meanwhile giving me more distance with both shots, would be ideal.”

We’ll keep an eye out for the clubs that make the cut when Woods tees off alongside Collin Morikawa and Jon Rahm at 9:40 a.m. local time.
