The scorecard is a weekly wrap up of the most important numbers from the previous week’s PGA Tour event.

The Front Nine

187 — Number of starts it has taken for Ken Duke to win on the PGA Tour.

26 — The number of strokes it took Bubba Watson to get through Nos. 16 to 18 over the weekend (par would have been 22 strokes).

71.28 — Ken Duke’s driving accuracy percentage, which is No. 1 on Tour.

44— Ken Duke’s age, which makes him the oldest first-time winner in 18 years (Ed Dougherty, 1995).

168 — Ken Duke’s driving distance rank on Tour, making him the shortest-hitting winner on Tour this year.

1st — Win for Akira wedges on the PGA Tour this year. Duke used 52- and 58-degree models with Aldila RIP Tour 115-gram graphite shafts (tour x-stiff flex).

1.545 — Ken Duke’s putting average (per green) this week.

52.6 — Percentage of tournaments that Duke has missed the cut in this year — 10 of 19.

5 — Number of majors Ken Duke has played in during his career. He gets in all four next year.

The Back Nine

96.43 — Jon Curran’s driving accuracy percentage at the travelers — 27 of 28 fairways hit.

$32,584 — Justin Thomas’s first professional check with a T30 finish at the Travelers.

75 — The number of spots up the FedEx point list that Duke moved with his win — 95th to 20th.

50 — Justin Rose’s top-10 percentage thus far in 2013 — 10 starts, five top 10’s.

810 — The amount of greens Graeme DaLaet has hit this year, for a greens-in-regulation percentage of 72.58, best on Tour.

32-feet, 1-inch — Ken Duke’s proximity to the hole average, making him No. 1 on Tour.

8.76 — The percentage of available winnings that Tiger Woods has totaled so far in 2013 — $5,909,742 of a possible $67,500,000. Wow.

7.32 — Percentage of Ken Duke’s left rough tendency. The guy never hits it left.

60 — Years have gone by since Bob Toski (Duke’s coach) won the Travelers in 1953.

GolfWRX is on site this week at Harbour Town Golf Links on Hilton Head Island for the RBC Heritage. Plenty of golfers who competed in the Masters last week will be making the quick turnaround in the Lowcountry of South Carolina as the Heritage is again one of the Tour’s Signature Events.

GolfWRX is on site this week at the Valero Texas Open.

The event has been around since 1922, making it one of the oldest on the PGA Tour calendar. Over the years, it’s been held at a variety of courses across the Lone Star State, but it’s found its home at TPC San Antonio in recent years. Some of the biggest names in golf have taken home the title here, including Arnold Palmer, Ben Hogan, Lee Trevino, and Ben Crenshaw.
